__about us

Amlap Publishing was established in 2003 to fill a gap in children's publishing, where much greater cultural diversity is required. We believe that it is crucial to help all children to understand and embrace who they are, and to appreciate their own and each other's cultural heritage, so that they can grow into confident, positive, culturally thinking members of society. Amlap aims to redress the balance by publishing material on African history, geography and culture..
