Koyejo Adesida

My name is Koyejo Adesida. I am 8 years old. I go to school in West London and often attend after-school clubs for tennis, football and swimming. I am a member of Wazobia, which is a children's club where I learn about Nigerian people, their language and Nigerian songs. We always sing the Nigerian national anthem and say the pledge.

My favourite sport is football. I am a member of the Arsenal Junior Gunners and have watched many matches at the Arsenal stadium. I recently won a raffle ticket to watch the gunners play in Bolton. Although we did not win I had a great time. I once met the Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira and even got his autograph! One day, I hope to be an Arsenal mascot and wish to meet Thierry Henry and get his autograph.

I enjoy reading books and magazines. I always read the Arsenal magazine. One day I saw a photograph of myself in the magazine; it was so amazing, unexpected and brilliant. I love to do competitions in football magazines, as I am very good at getting the answers.

I like to travel on holiday. I have been to Nigeria three times so far. I really enjoyed going to Port Harcourt and went to the swimming pool a lot. My favourite Nigerian foods are Joll of rice, Dodo and moin-moin. My favourite Nigerian snacks are puff-puff and chin-chin.

When I grow up I would like to play football in the premiership and play for Nigeria in the world cup. I would also like to be a football manager. My African dream team is: Shaka Hislop, Babayaro, Yobo, Kolo Toure, Lauren, Geremi, Papa Diop, Okocha, Henry Camera, Eto'o and George Weah.

Temi Olurunrinu

Temi Olurunrinu is 11 year old. She enjoys dancing and singing and has won several trophies. She also likes watching movies and her favourite film is “Racing Stripes”. “Pussy Cat Dolls” are her favourite music group and Fried Rice is her favourite meal. Temi is looking forward to starting secondary school soon and would like to be a gospel singer when she grows up.

Lara Olurunrinu

Lara is Temi's sister and 5 years old. She loves reading and is a great storyteller. She also loves shopping, dancing, playing with her friends and Jade her Bratz doll. Her favourite meal is Jollof Rice and her favourite film is “Finding Nemo”.
