Q: Who would you choose to be locked up in a room with for 24 hours and why?
A: Monique Coleman. She's young and has problems but copes rather well and achieves her goals in life.

Q: What do you think can be done to improve security in Nigeria today?
A: First of all people should lose that Naija mentality of “every man for himself” It is not working and never will if we always blame someone else for something.

The police don't have a good name, they aren't well paid and fear for their own lives, we need to educate Nigerians about what it means to defend ones country, it is something to be proud of, but not everyone is capable of it. Those that take up this kind of position should do so with pride, you never know you might be a hero or something! We don't value human life and some seem to think that the rich should be protected more than anybody else. We need a system where everyone should be treated the same irrespective of how rich or poor they are because every single life counts!

Q: What can you say about youth culture?
A: Nowadays there is too much exposure. In an attempt to give young people a better life parents often go too far and allow too much freedom which often results in rudeness to parents and those in authority. A lot of Nigerian families now imitate American ones but we don't share the same cultural values.

Q: If you were the president of Nigeria what are the first 3 things that you would do?
A:

  1. An Environmental policy so that people would stop falling ill due to pollution.
  2. Security – reduce/ eradicate armed robberies, fraud, etc.
  3. Education- Rebuild the education system

Q: What every parent should know about their child?
A: There emotional state of mind. As a teenager we need to control our emotions because they could damage our future. Parents cannot always tell what we are going through, because it is not always obvious from looking at our faces or what we say, but it is important that they should know.

Q: Describe your life in general.
A: Each day brings its own challenges and I think each of us needs to cope with these. Every day is an experience and what you experience today can help you plan for tomorrow.
